This has been confirmed to work on:

Sandisk cruzer micro  4GB (with U3 removed)

older PNY 1GB

if anything else works, or just to contact me, email me at burningthunderpup@gmail.com

I installed puppy to usb, right? Well... it didn't work at first with superfloppy mode. You heard me, DIDN'T! But I figured out how to do this. No GRUB needed.

Before you begin, burn a puppy linux cd. I used Burning Thunder Pup. Boot it.

First, make sure that there ARE partitions. If you tried SuperFloppy mode, add a partition! I used FAT32, W95 FAT32 in fdisk. A Win Format should also work, but no NTFS!

Second , in the installer (menu, setup, puppy universal installer), pick usb flash drive , select your drive.

Then, hit the installl button ON THE TOP, NO OPTIONS ON THIS SCREEN!

Go through the sanity check.

choose mbrfat.bin then syslinux.

Go through The Questions, Awnser them on your own.

when done, shutdown puppy .

remove the cd.

copy (or move) your pup-save.*fs file (where applicable)

Enjoy puppy!

NOTE: If you add a save file to usb, you can insert both the usb and cd to load save file on older computers

WARNING! UNLIKE THE CD, YOU CANNOT USE BOOT OPTIONS!

I reccomend Burning Thunder Pup for use with this tutorial
