Firefox 1.5.0.5 is a lot easier than earlier versions to install. First, you download the tarball. Then you extract it to where you want it. In the instance of the iso image I have posted, I extracted it to the /usr/local directory. Go into the directory that is created (/usr/local/firefox/), right click on the firefox program file and create a link to it in the /usr/local/bin directory. Then, change to the /usr/local/bin directory and edit the default browser file so that it lists "firefox" rather than whatever is there (in the my instance, "dillo"). Last of all, change to the root directory and edit the .jwmrc file, deleting the "<!-- " and " -->" from both sides of the entry that is already there. Restart X and you will see Firefox listed right above Dillo.
