The Foundation's primary goal is to determine, oversee, and prioritize (by urgency & importance) the needs of Puppy Linux's development and means of supporting its development.

Here are the other goals for the Puppy Foundation:

1. Maintain our web server.
2. Delegate responsibilities as needed.

  • We have a growing interested number of volunteers.
  • Volunteers, add your name & some method of contact (forum∞ name, IRC registered nickname, Skype user name) to the Puppy Foundation list first, then add your name to the list at the bottom of this page with what you're willing to help with (related to the Foundation's goals, please). The other list will be for contact info and generalites, the one below will be used for finding and assigning volunteers.
  • Mutually decide who does what

5. Promote Puppy Linux
6. When the time is right, take over the financial side of supporting Puppy. May require a non-profit organization, but has yet to be determined.
7. Add more clarity to these goals, the Foundation's role, and lots more.

There has been some discussion on IRC and the forums about the Puppy Foundation. See the main forum topic∞ or talk it about.
