A long-time Linux geek. Interested in creating a Puppy that is self-hosting -- that can compile and build itself. Interested in making sure we have useful source code packages available for each Puppy package (each package that includes open source binaries -- obviously we're not going to get source code for the Macromedia Flash plugin any time soon!).

Towards this end, I have written and published a couple of scripts to help in buildng and packaging apps for Puppy, called dpupmaker.sh∞ and pupgetmaker.sh∞ -- these are downloadable from their respective threads in the Puppy Discussion Forum∞ .
