Ello, everybody! (I'm not British, that's just fun to say. Try it!) My name's Billy, a.k.a. PuppyLinuxGuy here and on the forums, Ultramuffin on Club Penguin∞ and my experimental MMO Cat World∞, and Billy Doyle1 on Runescape∞. Whew! That's a long list. I need to get out more. Anyway, I enjoy working on a little bit of everything (computer-related, that is...), so naturally I found Puppy Linux. Darn. I just finished my last Mini-Pizza. Anyway, back to the action.

I first started experimenting with Puppy when it was only version 1.05. It was really cute back then! Anyway, then I upgraded to 1.07 and it stopped working on my computer. I wasn't very good with Linux, or anything else for that matter, so I stopped trying to fix it. I lost the disk for a while, then I found it about six months later. I visited the Puppy Site to try and get the latest version working, and viola, it did! I was amazed at how much Puppy had grown just from 1.07 to 2.01. I was very disappointed, however when I discovered that the Start button no longer went down when you pushed it (lol). I was starting to get good at the internal workings of systems by then, so I decided to start working on it.
Fast forward about a year and a half to now... I haven't accomplished anything. But that's about to change. I have been working on my MMO (see the link at the top for Cat World. (Too lazy to relink...)), so I haven't worked on Puppy much. I took a break for a while and did a total HD install on my old E-machines. Yes, it's true, my first ever MS-free computer. Then I worked for a while more. About two weeks ago, I decided to build a test server bank in my basement. Guess what it will run on?
A. A donut
B. Windows 3.1
C. Puppy
D. What's a server bank?
If you picked C, then you're ready for Toontown Online, a game where you can do anything...Sorry. But yes, it will run Puppy. So, I came back here to download 3.01...and got distracted. Now I'm working on PuppyPack, a collection of Essential tools for Puppy.

Anyway, enough life story. PuppyPack will include a new Trash can, a help center, a interface unifier, and possibly a custom file manager. And that's just version 1.0...
To join PuppyPack, visit the forum thread. All you have to do is complete the following 500-pages mental health exam: Not really. But you do have to click this link: PuppyPack

Bye!
