I want to touch upon some topics about the reorganisation of the wiki structure.

1. Categories

I have made some efforts in recategorizing the Puppy Linux Wiki as you see in CategoryCategory to enable an easy retrieval of topics. Nearly all pages without category have been categorized afterwards. Only some read only pages and pages intended for inclusion to others stay uncategorized. But the catategories themselves are a problem. While some topics like in CategoryLocalization or CategoryCommunity are easy to categorize others like in CategoryDocumentation, CategoryHowto or CategoryHardware fail.

For example:
What is the condition to come under CategoryDocumentation or CategoryUserContributions?
Nearly every entry within this wiki is some kind of documentation or user contribution.

At the moment CategoryHowto contains information that goes from a very detailed description like WiFi until small scraps like learnMurgaLua.
CategoryDocumentation contains information that also could be within CategoryHowto. Should it be better to delete these categories and make a new category CategorySetup with subcategories like CategorySetupNetwork, CategorySetupXWindows, CategorySetupBooting or is there another even better concept?

2. Pages

Some pages within the wiki layout like the SiteMap are hopelessly outdated because it is nearly impossible to update them with every new page entered to the wiki. On the other hand there exists a search algorithm that automates the categories. If this search algorithm could be updated to produce some additional information behind the topics like within the new wiki main page a perfect sitemap always could be generated automatically.

These are two of my thoughts about improving the usability of the wiki. I expect your suggestions.

Suggestion for restructuring:

• New system of marking pages for editing, as outdated or in any other way in need of attention
• Cleaning up catergories section and relabelling all pages. (maybe using subcatergories as mentioned here - http://docs.wikkawiki.org/WikiCategory∞
