Amanda Singh aka Oz Linux Puppy "Thoughtjourney"
(who STILL hasn't sent me any poems) is one of

Weekend Review (Editorial comment)

It occured to me that puppies & myself are still complaining. Well enough! Today I am going to
tell why puppy is the best. For one, this linux has a lot of programs, but the thing I like about these
programs is that they are light weight. Whomever designed these programs put time & effort into making
them as small as possible while making sure they provided top notch performance. And secondly, programs
just work. No dependcy issues, they just work. If you have ever used another distro & try installing software
especially if your new to linux you know what I'm talking about. Another thing is the easy tweaking.
You can trick this linux out as if it were a hotrod. And the last thing I am gonna mention is the support.
If you have never participated with an online community this is the most unbiased & friendly forum around.
If you have a question, proposal, idea, tip or trick it will not go unnoticed. We puppies take extreme interest
in what other's have to write or chat about. If it can can improve or enchance our computer time we are for it.

Chubby Puppy version 1.0.5 released. This is a fatter Puppy, with OpenOffice and Mozilla, and the live-CD
iso file puppy-chubby-1.0.5-openoffice-mozilla.iso is only 91.4M. Chubby has OpenOffice 1.1.4 but is missing
Abiword and Gnumeric, otherwise is the same as the standard Puppy 1.0.5 release -- see release notes on 27Sept05 below. Chubby requires a PC with 256M RAM. download here∞
